1. Set Business Goals

Goals tell us what we’re trying to achieve and give us a benchmark to measure our progress. We keep our primary business goal front and center at all times, as it will guide everything we do. Read more about the importance of setting SMART goals.

2. Establish Research Premise

What premise or theory do we need to test? How big is the market and what is its potential? What are current market trends? Are our goals feasible? Here we identify the information we want to collect during the Research phase.

3. Determine Research Scope

Next, we define and agree on the exact scope of the research—what information will support or disprove the premise? What is the extent of the research and what is the desired delivery date?

What’s included?

Three hours of meeting time (over the phone or in person) and a drafted document with up to three rounds of minor revisions.
